Hacienda Sonora in the Central Valley region of Costa Rica is a mid-sized farm specializing in Honey and Natural processed coffees. This is a very unique farm as most coffee produced in Costa Rica is done with the washed process. This particular coffee it is a farm-level blend of both natural processed and black honey processed coffees. The coffee is bursting with fruit flavors such as pineapple, kiwi, cherry, strawberry, and blackberry, this gives it an over-all fruit punch flavor which is really nice. The medium acidity nicely balances the fruited sweetness, and there is a nice low note of baking spices (mostly nutmeg).
